Mystery Tour: 2014 Edition

This is the week! The Raiders' Mystery Tour takes off in 5 days.

 Thanks to all the kind Raiders who have paid their fees and sent me a photo of themselves (birth-age 10). You make life so much easier for the Planning Committee.

See you all bright and early on Saturday morning -  9:30 am sharp from the NEW departure point - Duane's home. Dress is smart casual.

Well guys,

What started in October will sadly be coming to an end on Friday. Along the way we will have played 21 games, 1 tournament, and 2 bonus games, for a total of 26 games of hockey!

Not counting the tournament, at the time of this post our record is:

11 Wins, 8 Losses, 2 Ties.

But before everyone starts getting down, I want to assure you that our Mystery Tour committee is hard at work planning another fun event. Make sure to keep June 7, 2014 open. Once again, you don't want to miss it!

Kitchener Tournament

The schedule is up for the Kitchener Tournament, and it's looking a whole lot better than last year's.

Friday January 31 - 7:00 pm at Sportsworld
Saturday February 1 - 1:30 pm at Kiwanis (Kitchener Aud)
Saturday February 1 - 8:00 pm at Kitchener Aud

Duane has generously offered his home again for a party after Friday night's game. If you are able to contribute to a potluck, please get in touch with Duane.

Just thought I'd share a few shots from my recent trip to the NHL Winter Classic over the holidays. It was an amazing experience, even though Detroit suffered a 3-2 SO loss, after outplaying those pesky Leafs. Thanks Bernier!
